A breakfast table is also provided and guests can enjoy alfresco dining outside easily as doors open out onto the terrace. The master bedroom is elegantly furnished with an antique double bed, bedside table, pretty writing desk and storage and hanging space for clothes and luggage. Shutter doors also open out into the garden. Situated opposite the master bedroom a newly fitted bathroom with separate shower and all the desired sanitary ware including a washing machine features for guest’s convenience. From the villa guests can easily reach the village’s local amenities which includes a grocery, supermarkets, bakery, cafe, bar, restaurant and park. The delightful village, which dates back to around 1049 also offers some pretty walks along the lakeshore and including to the Church of St Abbondio which dominates an elevated position over the village and which offers spectacular lake views as well as possessing a wonderful original concave façade and sumptuous baroque interior. The historical lakeside town of Lenno is very close by and offers a wider choice of amenities and features a picturesque promenade, popular Lido di Lenno with sandy beach, bar and restaurant, and the famous Villa del Balbianello which is situated on the other side of the bay of Lenno and which is the jewel in Lake Como’s crown. The beautiful resort town of Tremezzo with its idyllic lakefront park, cafes and restaurants and picturesque Menaggio which offers a wide choice of shops and a ferry service to Bellagio and Varenna can be reached easily by bus from the village or by car. Nearby guests can also enjoy tennis, boat rental and a public beach in Ossuccio, and the world renowned Menaggio & Cadenabbia Golf Club is easily reachable by car on the Menaggio hillside which leads to Lake Lugano. | |||||||||||||||||||||
